Hallo allemaal, als je van muziek houdt en erover denkt om celloles te nemen, dan deel ik graag mijn kennis en ervaring met je!
Hello everyone, if you like music and you're thinking about taking cello lessons, I will be more than happy to share my knowlege and expirience with you!
I started to play the cello at the age of 7 years old. I was always fascinated by the sound of this instrument and wanted to learn more from it. I finished the conservatory studies in Barcelona at the age of 17 in a specialized school for musicians, and I entered to the Bachelor degree. I studied with a really well known cello teacher in Spain and I graduated four years later.During my studies I focused in my two big passions: orchestra playing and teaching. I have been member of the national youth orchestra in Catalonia for 5 years. I also specialized in teaching, since it is something organical and natural for me to do and I'm always happy to share my knowledge with other music students. After my bachelor studies, I moved to Austria for one year, where I studied with the principal cellist from the Munich philharmonic orchestra. I combined my studies with a part time job as a music teacher. This year I moved to Groningen to start with my master degree studies at the prince Claus conservatory and I'm very excited to start with this new experience!
I like to teach my students the technique and musical abilities necessaries to understand and enjoy music.
My aim during the cello lessons it's always to make sure that the student is having a nice time and enoying music while they learn!
I have been in Groningen for three weeks and I'm starting to learn dutch. I can understand a bit, since I speak german fluently, but the lessons are mostly in english at the moment. I hope in a near future will be dutch as well;)
I have a large expirience in teaching students from different ages. I can teach beginner students and introduce them to music and cello. I have recived formation on young children music training. I also can teach more advanced students and older people, as I have also experience on this field. I have done a lot of private cello lessons during my studies, I worked as a substitute teacher in music schools from Spain, and I have been working for one year as a music teacher in Austria.
For the lessons it is important to have the instrument, but we can search for it together, once we start with the lessons. It doesn't have to be a super professional one for start learning:)
I can also help with music solfège and harmony basics, so that we can make sure that every student it's able to read and understand music.
I'm active musician always learning from my master studies and performance expirience. I like also to be involved in futher educationin the field of teaching.
