Lucía García Alberola

I started playing doublebass when I was 7 years old. And now I am finally a professional musician. I just finished my master in music performance with classical doublebass at the HKU Utrecht Conservatorium. During my years of studying I have been giving individual lessons to children and adults, I have been teaching at schools in Spain and Utrecht and I have been giving group lessons in orchestras, like USKO (Utrecht Studenten Koor en Orkest). I am currently still teaching privately doublebass and music theory and helping young bassists in the Frysk Jeudg Orkest. I have also followed lot of courses of methodologie and pedagogy during my career. I love teaching and passing to others my energy and knowledge of the bass and music.

So it doesn´t matter if you want to learn from the beggining or if you already have some experience and want to improve your technique and musicality.

You will choose the goal of why you want to follow this lessons and I will help making a personalized lesson plan that will help you achieving it. So if you want to play in a student orchestra, improve your skills or just learn from the scratch a really fun instrument, I will love to be your teacher.

I am Spanish but I am living in NL for 5 years so the lessons can be in Dutch too!
